31 Min Run (Race) --Dansk 4 Miler--

GREENVILLE, Mich. -- So we all dressed up like Aebelskivers and ran around the lake. Really a pretty fun time. I didn't push the paced terribly as I just haven't had much mileage in the past few weeks to lean on. But it was a sparse crowd and I just kind of got into a form I liked and tagged a guy in front of me, who ended up falling apart with a mile or so to go. It was a beautiful morning. We'd been up pretty late making the outfits (Chrish, Julia, Erin, myself as skivers and Steve as the pan) and searching for my stupid sunglasses case. But as usual, the less sleep the day before the better as we all hopped out of bed and were ready for action.

Really proud of the whole crew. Erin and Steve did their first ones. Chrish has giant calves. Julia ran with her aunt. And Teri Mazariegos (now Marsman, I think) has also turned into a solid runner, notching a medal for herself in the F 30-34 age group. Awesome.

I turned in a...ah hell, I'll just cut and paste the division as we made up almost half of it :)

I've got some work to do. But what a flippin awesome time. Retire to Steve's for some coffee and grub and then walked to the Grand Dansk parade! So great. We then made the unfortunate decision to try and eat 12 chili dogs each at the Corner Bar to get on the Wall of Fame. Bad idea, team.
