This lesson is emerging: give the legs some time to warm up and then feel free to speed up. The first 3.1 is light and breezy these days, but in days gone by I would have started pushing early at this stage. My time on the treadmill is proving that you can indeed run negative splits...and feel better at the end than if running equals.

Pretty good stuff. Nice break in the normal routine to get a time.
